The Quality Hotel Clonakilty West Cork Rally will take place for the 38th time on 12th & 13th March 2016 and for only the second time in its history it will run under an International permit.
The rally has been included as a round of the inaugural FIA Celtic Rally Trophy (subject to FIA World Motorsport Council approval in early December) which also includes several other Irish events.
After a successful and popular 2015 event, the rally is once again the second round of the Clonakilty Blackpudding Irish Tarmac Rally Championship for the coming season.
The format of the rally will remain the same for 2016, with eight stages run on the Saturday and six on the Sunday over a very compact route with low road mileage.
The entry fee for the various categories will also remain unchanged from the 2015 event.
More information will be available on www.westcorkrally.com and www.corkmotorclub.com in the coming weeks.
