Founded in 1954 to be a dynamic force in developing choral music in Ireland, the Cork International Choral Festival is held annually over the five days preceding the first Monday in May.

Cork welcomes choirs from across the world for a programme of Gala concerts, Schools Concerts, National and International Competitions, and world-class performances, as thousands of participants bring the city to life for a celebration of choral music in all its many forms!

One of Europe’s premier international choral festivals, Cork is noted for its high standards, eclectic and wide-ranging programme, and the friendliness of its welcome.

Get those Jazz hands at the ready. Its happening again.

The Ballydehob Jazz Festival is on 29th April, 1st & 2nd May 2016, Levi’s Bar, Main Street, Ballydehob.

Every year Ballydehob hosts over 50 performances that range from big name concerts to small workshops; from lively pub gigs to intimate side shows and fringe events.
Last year saw the introduction of a Jazz Dance programme with sold out classes throughout the weekend. Not to mention New Orleans Jazz Funeral Parade down the mainstreet. All made possible by the enthusiam and participation of the volunteers.

This year will be BIGGER & BETTER with your help!
More dancing, more workshops, more street theatre , more music & even more fun. Ballydehob Jazz Festival is going to be the place to be.

The Cape Clear Walking Talking Weekend, which takes place on Cape Clear Island, is an opportunity to savour the superb scenery and breathtaking views of this magical island in the company of knowledgeable guides. It is also a chance to glimpse some of the fascinating wildlife of land, sea and air for which Cape Clear is famous. As well as exploring the island itself, participants are invited to discover something of its history, music and folklore at a number of informal gatherings.
