Cork Weather

Cork’s weather is  generally clement, influenced by the relatively warm waters of the Gulf Stream and by the prevailing southwestern winds from the Atlantic. However, it can get quite cold in winter (December, January and February) and whilst the summer months can be warm, the rain is never too far!

The best advice for travellers to Cork County is to bring layers of clothing and waterproof jackets.
