Cork Harbour Festival is the largest annual event in Cork Harbour offering a nine day celebration of Cork’s maritime culture, from 3rd – 11th June 2017. Kicking off on the June Bank Holiday weekend the festival features 60 events taking place in Cork City as well as in 15 harbour towns and villages.
There are a variety of events to dive into, from water activities to guided walks, open days to open sails, seafood market to seaweed foraging and so much more.
Whether a visitor to the region or a native Corkonian, come and experience the spectacular fleet of boats taking part in Ocean to City – An Rás Mór from the many vantage points along the harbour.
So why not go crab fishing in Cobh; explore our many heritage sites; brave a guided ghostly trail; sail in the harbour or come for a kayak and discover Cork City from a different perspective.
Now in its third year, the festival celebrates Cork Harbour as a natural and cultural resource, with the communities and their stories at the heart of it.

“HILLFEST 2017”, is an initiative between Watergrasshill Community Council and Watergrasshill National School Parents Association, with all profits going towards specific Community related projects via our Community Council and our local National School. 2017 events will take place in Watergrasshill, Cork from Friday the 2nd June to Monday the 5th June with various events taking place over the weekend.
The Innishannon Steam & Vintage Rally in aid of The Irish Cancer Society (ICS) and is held each June Bank Holiday Weekend to promote Steam & Vintage and heritage items. It’s a great family day out for young and old with over 1,000 exhibits on 40 acre site .
The exhibits include huge tractors, threshers, unique cars, motorbikes, oil and steam engines as well as experiencing a working forge. There is also a pet’s corner, always popular with children, a cake sale, numerous stands and stalls with art and craft displays, a dog show, sheep dog trials, road rolling. This is a fun-day out for collectors, enthusiasts and visitors alike with car parking and camping facilities set up in the village. Innishannon itself dates back to the sixth century and is surrounded by an ancient woodland and castle ruins.
The Cork Summer Show is on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th June 2017, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm each day in Curraheen Showgrounds.
It is one of the largest events of it’s kind in Ireland attracting over 50,000 visitors in 2016. Organised by the Munster Agricultural Society, the Cork Summer Show has been running in one form or another for over 200 years, since 1806.
It is Cork’s oldest and largest agricultural, gardening, food and family event which takes place every June in Curraheen, Cork.
We operate a complimentary CAMP ROCK Kid’s Club during school holidays for children aged 5 to 12 years. CAMP ROCK runs from 10am – 12.30pm each morning and includes an array of planned activities such as supervised ‘Watertastic’, games, arts and crafts and much more. We host a supervised Movie Night and themed fancy dress from 6pm each evening and children can enjoy freshly cooked party food while parents escape to the restaurant and dine in peace and tranquillity.
Our spacious leisure centre acts as the perfect indoor playground for our visiting families. We have a separate shallow kiddie’s pool for young children and there is also an extensive Children’s Playground, just a stones through from our hotel.

Townlands Carnival is a three day, unique participatory Music & Arts Festival, promoting music, arts and culture in all its diversity at an international level. A celebration and exploration of Culture past, present and future, attracting audiences and quality acts from home and abroad.
This is a family event with a dedicated kids area & entertainment for the younger festival goer all weekend.

TownLands is to be set in the picturesque countryside near Macroom, Co. Cork, in the grounds of the old Rusheen Farm estate, with its walled gardens, ancient and managed woodlands and valleys, miles of walks, its lakes and follies and tree-lined green fields.
Millstreet Horse Show is Ireland’s largest annual equestrian event. In 2016, we offered a total prize fund exceeding €200,000. Millstreet has become Ireland’s largest shop window for the Equestrian Industry and young horse classes feature strongly; including the renowned Young Irelander loose jumping for 3 Year Old Horses and the National Discovery for 4 Year Olds.
The show features classes that cater for all age levels and grades with a full range of National classes as well as the final of Coolmore Young Champion of Ireland series.
